What does EE stand for?

EE stands for Energy Efficient. For clients who have informed us that they require a Section J Report as part of their permit process, we will automatically upgrade the materials of the portable building to comply. Once the report has been paid for and acquired, we will then downgrade any of the upgraded items that are not necessary as per the verified report.

Depending on the type of portable building, we will upgrade materials such as; thicker Wall and/or Roof Panels, R-Flor Subflooring, Low E Glass, Door Closers, Emergency Electricals & Energy Saving Electricals.

Do I require a council permit or building permit?

You will need to contact your local council to provide this information to you. Once you have that confirmation, we can ensure that we will build a portable building that is tailored to your needs.

Can you obtain the council permit or building permit for me?

We cannot obtain the permits for you, but we can arrange some of the documentation required through our preferred suppliers. This includes the structural engineering report and the section J energy efficiency report. Other reports that will be supplied with your portable building are the electrical and plumbing certificates.  Glazing, waterproofing, & split system air conditioning installation certificates are obtainable upon request.

Do I need insurance if I am only hiring a portable building?

Yes, while the portable building is on hire at your site, you are required to have public liability insurance to cover our building.

What warranty do you offer on your portable buildings?

Do you offer delivery? And how do you deliver your portable buildings?

We do offer delivery. We have a select group of preferred external transport companies that we utilise frequently. We can arrange delivery for you via their tilt trucks, semi tilt trucks, flat bed trucks and crane trucks. We can also arrange franna cranes and dogmen for safe loading & unloading of portables or sites with more complexities.

Can I arrange my own delivery?

Yes, you can arrange your own delivery by any of the following types of transport:

  • Tilt Truck
  • Semi Tilt Truck
  • Crane Truck
  • Flat Bed Truck (a separate unloading method will be required at your site)

Please note that our portable buildings cannot be transported by:

  • Tautliner Trucks
  • Car Trailers

Our friendly team can also assist in loading your building in our yard via forklifts, if required.

We also recommend not to use straps that sling over the building when transporting as this will dent the roof and cappings. Our roof panels are installed in a way that they will not detach, so will not fly off in transport.

Installation Enquiry

1st Accordion
What do you offer regarding installation?

Our team can provide basic levelling. If the portable building is in multiple sections, our team will attend site and complete water-tight joining of the building sections. We do not provide connection to services.

What is basic levelling?

Basic levelling involves one of our onsite trained team members attending your site to lay concrete base pads for the portable building to sit on and to ensure it is level.

Can my portable building sit directly on the ground?

If the ground is fairly level, our buildings can be placed directly onto the ground as they are built on a steel skid. However, we do recommend placing our portable buildings on some type of footing to avoid rusting or sliding/movement.

Can you provide connection to plumbing or electrical services onsite?

Unfortunately, these are not services that we provide. Our portable buildings are wired and plumbed in the most efficient way(s) to make the connection process faster and most convenient. We recommend contacting a local contractor to complete these services for you.
